Rant Warning:

Okay, I know that I don't have great art, and I know that I'm not a super popular person or artist on here, as much as I'd love to be someday, I don't think it'll happen, and no this isn't a pity trip. Anyways.... The picture in question is this one... As much as I love the fact that it's the sixth most popular result when you search "Midna", I hate the fact that IT ISN'T MY ARTWORK NOR IS IT MY ACTUAL PHOTOGRAPHY

I know a ton of you are going to say "Just take it down"!!! Nuh-uh, not going to happen, I don't like to take pictures down if they're from a con.... But seriously, I want to cry sometimes it's so sad and frustrating.... This stupid "collection" thing is nice, but also annoying!!! People don't even have to go to the artist's page to favorite it!!!! WHAT THE HELL?! I don't care about the pageviews or the views on the deviation, but just the respect of visiting the artist's site!!!! UGH! I don't know if I can even really express just how ticked off I am about this!!!

:screams::explodes: UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GIANT UGH!! If it was something I'd drawn or a picture I took with my real camera not my "Snapshot" camera.... then I wouldn't be so pissed... I'd be happy and honored...

Okay, in case you're confused as to why I don't call my digi a "real" camera.... For one, you never have a physical picture you can hold, nor do you have film that you can hold... it's all data... not real. And another reason... My digital is a cheap $30 camera you can get anywhere, my real camera is an expensive one that has real film and gives me real pictures and has real settings I can adjust... not all of this "Automatic" shit. Yeah I "zoom" in with a digi, but I can also "zoom" in with my real camera AND adjust focus! I know there are digital cameras out there that are like exactly the same, BUT I DON'T HAVE ONE OF THOSE!!! So, in my mind anything I take with my digi is just snapshots, I'm not taking them to look great or wonderful, I'm taking them to capture a memory and a moment of time that I can look back at and laugh at or cry or whatever it is... I will sometimes take my camera to events, but only if it is a family event and I know that 99% of the pictures will be candid.... I HATE taking real pictures of people... Sorry, but I do....

"Then why do you take pictures of people at cons?" Why?! Because I like their costume and would like to REMEMBER IT, not make it look uber nice and amazing with perfect lighting and everything... No. Just to remember the costume. I use my real camera to capture nature's moments and beauty.

"But the pictures you take at cons look good too!!" -.- Yay.... -heavy sarcasm- Well, I'm sorry if the fact that I've loved taking pictures all my life and my inner photographer follows the different little rules with out me really realizing it.... -more sarcasm-

Also, I'm so very sorry that yearbook has ingrained rules and stuff in my brain when it comes to digital pictures. -even MORE sarcasm-

-sighs and rolls her eyes- Good thing I put that rant warning, huh? Anyways, there's so much more I want to "say", but I'm no writer (as you can probably tell by my lack of proper punctuation) so it's difficult for me to express what I want to say... I don't feel like I can get my feelings out, but I hope what I've said gets my message across...

On a final note: To me anything taken with my digital is not photography it's a snapshot, anything taken with my Pentax is my photography....

I beg you, if you think this is a good picture, it really isn't! Please look at the rest of my gallery too!!!
